While I currently can only accept Aetna insurance directly (I'm what's called an "out-of-network provider" for other insurance companies), that doesn't mean you're totally on your own with the costs. Many insurance plans actually cover therapy with out-of-network therapists—you might be surprised at what your plan offers!

After each session, I'll give you what's called a superbill - it's basically a detailed receipt that you can send to your insurance company to get reimbursed. And here's a helpful tip: if you have an FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account), you can use those funds for therapy too! Not sure what your insurance covers? Just give them a quick call to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits. You might find you have more coverage than you thought!
